Day 1

Arrival at Mwalimu JK Nyerere International airport of Dar es Salaam. Representative of Makomo Safaris will meet you at the airport and will transfer you to Slipway Hotel, Dar es Salaam, on Bed and Breakfast basis.

Day 2

Transfer to Dar Es Salaam airport, old terminal for your flight to Tanga departing at 14h00 and arriving in Tanga at 15h35 via Zanzibar. On arrival in Tanga, Makomo representative will meet you and transfer you to Emau Hill, in East Usambara Mountains, where you will stay on FB terms. Driving time 2 hrs Emau Hill, is close to Amani and & the Nature Reserve, has tented bandas, all with fine forest views. Famous for Forest walks, African violets, and excellent bird watching.

Day 3

Emau Hill, on full board terms, with local sight seeing, forest walks, bird watching.

Day 4

This morning drive to Pangani about 2 hours. On arrival in Pangani, check in at Choba Bay Villa on full board terms.

Day 5

At leisure at Choba Bay Villa Pangani, on full board terms.

Day 6

This morning drive to Saadani National park, about 2 hrs journey. In Saadani check in at The Tent With A View Safari Lodge on full board terms. Late afternoon game drive in the Saadani National Park. Dinner and overnight at The Tent With a View safari Lodge, FB. A Tent With A View Safari Lodge, is nestled between the Indian Ocean and the Saadani bush, in an old coconut plantation. It has ten luxury tents, eight of which are elegantly perched on stilts and two at beach level. All the uniquely styled beachfront bandas offer total privacy,are fully ensuite and have large balconies overlooking the azure sea. Each tent has a Saadani theme and is individually designed. Emphasis is on relaxation and appreciation of the natural environment with a variety of activities offered by the lodge. The spacious restaurant and the bar is also elevated on stilts overlooking the sea.

Day 7

Saadani National Park, morning foot safari in the park organised by the lodge, and afternoon game drive in the park. All meals and overnight at  the Tent With A View Safari Lodge, FB.

Day 8

breakfast at the camp, then return to Dar Es Salaam. The journey lasts about four hours. On arrival in Dar Es Salaam, either drop off at Dar es Salaam port for boat to Zanzibar, at Mwalimu JK Nyerere International Airport for your international flight.
